Frequently Asked Questions

It’s completely natural to have questions before starting therapy. I hope these answers help you feel more at ease in the process.

    • An individual and couple’s session is $225 for 55 minutes.

    • For extended sessions of 90 minutes, the fee is $300.

    • For those who want to utilize their PPO insurance, I can provide a superbill that you can apply your out of network benefits towards

  • These sessions take approximately 2 hours, and I charge $350 per session.  This includes an intake and consultation about what to expect prior to the session so that once we are in our ART session we can hit the ground running.

  • I do reserve a portion of my sessions to offer sliding scale options based on individual need.  Please contact me directly to see if I have capacity to offer this for you.

  • I have been trained in various modalities and theories, and I enjoy curating a combination of therapy approaches to each client depending on what I feel would work best for each individual’s current issues.

For trauma work, I especially like to utilize Accelerated Resolution Therapy

Some of the theories and modalities I like to incorporate into on-going therapy work include (but not limited to) somatic work, interpersonal neurobiology, attachment theory, systems theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, exposure and response prevention, acceptance and commitment therapy, psychoeducation and a whole lot of practical real world sprinkling in to what feels attainable in a moment in theory vs application.

    • ART is evidence-based to resolve a trauma within 1-3 sessions (often 1 session!)

      • Great for those overwhelmed/stressed and maxed for time

      • Great for those struggling to enter into and sit in the trauma

    • You don’t have to verbalize the trauma or say exactly what the trauma was/is.  We can target the trauma without re-telling what specifically happened to you, and it still works.  This can be powerful for those who have not been able or wanting to say out loud what happened to them.

    • This can be a “one and done” type of therapy.  You don’t need to have established a working relationship with me prior to beginning ART, and you don’t need to continue work beyond either.  This trauma therapy can be an adjunct to your on-going therapy with another provider.
